During my time at the Rhode Island School of Design, I wanted to take a few courses where I can explore new ways to make things. I took a ceramics class where I created molded ceramics of random and unremarkable things we might find in our homes. The theme I was exploring was making everyday found objects look like artifacts. Can unremarkable things eventually become artifacts?
